Rambling Heights Service Unit

  • Fall Sale items are available for pick up at the council office.


  • Recognitions (forms in FYI book) need to be turned in to the council office by January 15 for most awards.


  • Cookie Rally will be January 7 at the Donaghey Student Center at UALR from 7p - 12 midnight.  $5 for girls and $3 for adults.


  •  Annual Meeting scheduled for April 9 at 3pm.


  • Cookie training will be the next meeting.  Must attend if you plan to sell cookies.  Cookies and prices remain the same as last year.  Your troop must be registered, financial report turned in and bank card on file by December 1 in order to sell cookies.


  • Rambling Heights won 3rd place for the Recruiting Award!


  • Council Policy on Brownies taking trips was discussed.  Possibility of changing the requirement that the trip would be 2 1/2 hours or less.  Maybe change the time to make it longer (3 to 4 hours) or instead of time, have a requirement on miles traveling.


  • Upcoming events - Holiday Parade - December 4 at 4pm downtown Little Rock.  Theme is The North Pole / Polar Express.  Contact Theresa Wrapelee.  You can wear santa hats, but not dress up like Santa.  If you plan to have a float, please contact your safety wise book on the requirements.  Patches will be given that day.


  • Father/Daughter Bowling - February.  Details are still being worked out.  More info at December meeting.  Patches will be given that day.
